Summary. This survey was carried out using a Geoscan Research (GR) Fluxgate Gradiometer on a 20 metre grid. Due to the nature of the site, large amounts of modern metal such as pipes and tent pegs cover the area. Although many of the features discovered are of uncertain origin, the most interesting of these were probable ditches running either side of a Roman street, and the southern continuation of the west ditch running into the ?water-works (the so-called Mithraeum).
