Summary. Fieldwalking on two fields (totalling 5.26 hectares) recovered very low weights of archaeological material, principally prehistoric burnt flints, Roman brick/tile, and post-medieval pottery and tile. It is likely that the Roman and later finds are the result of manure scatter, and are not evidence of settlement.
