Summary. An archaeological evaluation was carried out at The Oaks Caravan Park, Chapel Road, Bucklesham, Suffolk in advance of the construction of a bungalow. The development site was located within a landscape of prehistoric, Roman, medieval and post-medieval artefact scatters along with the evidence of field systems, ditched enclosures and ring-ditches. Despite being located in an area of archaeological importance, no significant archaeological horizons were identified.
