Summary. An archaeological evaluation (five trial-trenches) was carried out on land at Bush Farm, Hall Road, Great Bromley, Essex in advance of the construction of a new dwelling and five associated buildings (including a games room and an office). Archaeological evaluation at this site revealed a modern pit, which was probably used for refuse purposes.
