Summary. An archaeological evaluation of five trial-trenches was carried out on land adjacent to The Willows, Crossways House, Thorpe Road, Little Clacton, Essex in advance of the construction of five new dwellings with associated garaging. Although located in the midst of a number of cropmark complexes, no archaeological features were encountered.
