Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at 18 All Saints Avenue, Colchester, Essex during groundworks for an extension and a soakaway. The site lies to the southeast of the Heath Farm Dyke and the Prettygate Dyke, and northwest of the Colchester-Gosbecks Roman road. Despite being located in an archaeologically-sensitive area, however, no significant archaeological remains were encountered.
