Summary. A programme of historic building recording was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust on a cart lodge at Purley Farm House, Purley Lane, Coggeshall, Essex CO6 1TH in May 2022. The cart lodge dates from 1777-1843, with a probable construction date of the early 19th century.
