Summary. An archaeological evaluation (one trial-trench) was carried out at 28 Grove Road, Chelmsford in advance an extension to the property. The evaluation took place within an area of archaeological significance, with remains dating to the Late Iron Age and subsequent Roman settlement of Caesaromagus close to the development site. However, no archaeological remains were encountered during the evaluation
