Summary. A programme of historic building recording was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust at Cannock Mill, Old Heath Road, Colchester in February 2016. Cannock Mill is a Grade II listed building (NHLE no. 1337742) built in 1845 on the site of a medieval mill of the same name. After World War II it was turned into a store for Cramphorns and the wheel and most of the internal machinery, fixtures and fittings were removed in the 1960s.
